Yet another destination making a real name for itself in recent times, Cascais in Portugal has to be one of the most beautiful coastal places to visit at the moment. Very near to the country’s capital of Lisbon, Cascais has an array of things well worth taking in, from its UNESCO Heritage Site in the neighbouring district of Sintra to its World Surfing Reserve named Ericeira. A solid destination for sports lovers too, golf and water sports are also enjoyed there, alongside its lush scenery and lovely beaches.

Rijeka, Croatia

Croatia is a popular choice for many people of late and Rijeka, the third-largest city in the country, is usually right near the top of the list. Rijeka Carnival is well worth checking out, alongside the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The city was named the “European Capital of Culture” in 2020, which pretty much sums up its offering. There’s great food to eat, art to see, and historical sights to take in. Rijeka’s appeal is definitely growing, that’s for sure.



Hévíz, Hungary

If you’re keen to immerse yourself in nature and have the relaxing holiday of all relaxing holidays then Hévíz in Hungary is arguably the best choice out there at the moment.
