Entroido is celebrated throughout Galicia, during the month of Febuary. It's believed to have pagan origins and it represents the end of winter. During Entroido there are a number of different daily activities that involve parades, mud and flour fights, and dressing up in costumes. Here are some pics of the celebrations:
