Should Kim trust America?

So... Kim is opening up North Korea, and wants to work towards reunification with the South. South Koreans also want that... and Moon is a good, genuine leader.

What I think we shouldn't lose sight of, is that the US will not want to give up the Korean peninsula geopolitically. Oh no... and on the contrary. The US wants to expand their military influence to the North, possibly as a bullwark against China and Russia in the East. There is just no way America is going to give up on Korea. This has nothing to do with peace, and everything to do with maintaining influence on the global stage.

What is even more worrying, is that the US says it is looking at the Libyan model for North Korea. This is shocking. We all know how that went ...

Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi agreed to abandon his nuclear ambitions in exchange for sanctions relief in the early 2000s. Within years, Gadhafi was overthrown and killed by rebels backed by Washington.

Libya was much more of a France/Sarkozy deal. Hillary/CIA did smuggle weapons into there though. All of Korea would look like N. Korea if not for the USA supporting the South. Is that what you want? A larger shithole as opposed to a smaller shithole.

And no... it was the CIA that initiated the Libya deal. They sent Sarkozy to do the dirty work... and let him get the "glory" :) Sarkozy was just a puppet.

In the spring of 1953, the Air Force targeted irrigation dams on the Yalu River, both to destroy the North Korean rice crop and to pressure the Chinese, who would have to supply more food aid to the North. Five reservoirs were hit, flooding thousands of acres of farmland, inundating whole towns and laying waste to the essential food source for millions of North Koreans.”

You can't never trust Americans (Talking about their goverment, I think their people are kind and good people) and especially those zionists manipulating with them.

I think something fishy may be going on behind the scenes with this whole thing, on both sides..... It seems too good to be true.

Trust only go so far. How is Kim going to hold on to power in the long run? I assume he still wants to do that. Maybe he thinks Trump and the Americans will be foolish. Or maybe he will be, but I don't think he is as crazy as they make him. He is probably trying to look like that on purpose

Should S. Korea, USA, China trust N. Korea? They have a long history of lying to get money. This time the sanctions need to stay in place until
the nuke program is eliminated.

Tough talks played an important part in bringing Kim to the negotiating table and South Korea thanked America for making this happen. Obama was too nice to make provocative statements. Trump also succeeded in building an international coalition against North Korea, which was effectively contained and isolated. North Korea was a Soviet satellite and Moscow still sees it as a protectorate which needs to be defended when it is attacked. This is a crucial difference between North Korea and Libya, which was on its own to fend for itself. America cannot actually attack North Korea because Russia and China are behind it and North Korea can denuclearize itself without fearing American strikes on Pyongyang. North Korea has no choice but to suspend its nuclear tests because its sole underground nuclear test site collapsed under the stress of multiple explosions, rendering it unsafe for further testing.

China was the key in allowing this to happen. Trump cannot take most of the credit.. but of course he will!
