Can someone's ethnicity be American?
Think of a guy all of his grandparents are from South Asia. However, he and her parents were born and raised in America and that guy consideres himself as ethnically American. Would it be okay or funny? Why or why not?
Please discuss.
If he is integrated in the American culture, then yes. American of South-Asian descent.
Although, some don't consider them as Americans

Was thinking of asking this question for all countries in the Americas:
If there are American, Canadian, Brazilian, Mexican, Argentinian ethnicity.
Would it refer to those descended from Native/Aboriginals or the colonial people or anyone living there.
Or there simply isnt such ethnicity.
