Sredny Stog culture was not Indo-European

Supported by those who can't live with the fact that Yamnaya was just a late PIEan culture full of West Asian DNA and Indo-Europeanized by people from the south. And that proto-Anatolian (ancestral to the Hittites) was older than Yamnaya.

It is a pathetic, ridiculous and laughable way of thinking. Why?

Sredny Stog culture was not a Kurgan culture. IEans in the steppes were associated with the kurgans. Also, there is clearly a huge migration detected from Yamnaya into Europe.

Sredny Stog culture was full of EEF or ANF. If Sredny Stog was Indo-European then Colin Renfrew was right and Europe was Indo-Europeanised by the Anatolian Farmers. Sure, the Anatolian Farmers from West Asia heavily changed the DNA in Europe. But I think we have enough evidence that LATE proto-Indo-European kurgan culture Yamnaya came later and had also a major genetic influence on Europe!


So, my point is that if Sredny Stog was Indo-European, which I'm sure it was absolutely not the case, then it was Indo-Europeanised by the Anatolian Farmers!

If people think that Sredny Stog culture was Indo-European in nature then Renfrew was right after all and Europe was Indo-Europeanised by the Anatolian Farmers, since there is a lot Anatolian stuff (EEF) in Sredny Stog.

But all evidence is pointing to the 'kurgans'. Proto-Indo-Europeans have been associated with the Kurgans and Yamnaya was the first kurgan culture in the Steppes. But science has shown that Yamnaya played a bigger role in Indo-Europeanising Europe. There were some huge migration waves from Yamnya into Europe, because it was Yamnaya that spread CHG-IranChL type of DNA in the west. All major ancient Indo-European cultures were derived from Yamnaya.

i m not frustated, but you seem to be in love with chg for whatever reason it may be.

Well, it is all about the individuality in our western society here in Europe. I can be in love with anything and everybody I want.

I am also interested in history and I am an investigation type and always want to know the truth, no matter I support/like it or not. The truth for me is the most important. Only with the truth science will go forward. Otherwise science will become a religion and people here in Europe will degenerate like people in other parts of the world where religion is the leading factor.

I am just trying my best to pointing out that Sredny Stog is a very bad candidate for being early PIEan. Sredny Stog was just an early European farming society influenced by the EEF/ANF, just like all other parts of the Balkans at that time. Sure, maybe later it was Indo-Europeanised by the Yamnya Horizon, but only then after the Indo-Europeanisation we see kurgans there.
