Genera is better by a mile to me.
Genera's results practically match with Gedmatch calcs and also to the best private calcs like 23andme and Ancestry.com.
So Genera is as good as them.
Indeed unhappily Genera doesn't accept Raw Data of other companies, it would be great for me if a day it would accept. Even if I must pay, it would be very useful to me anyway.
But unhappily it's quite difficult to me to resend the sample to Brazil... :(
But I consider Genera is awesome while My Heritage is not that good.
Genera and MyHeritage have something in common, both are bad.

Eu acho Genera bastante bom na verdade.
Um amigo meu me falou que possui um algoritmo um pouco simplório, mas mesmo assim os resultados dos testes não são tão diferentes do que os das melhores companhias...
Com o passar do tempo eles vão melhorar muito sem dúvidas, a gente precisa ter um pouco de paciência. Além disso, gosto bastante.
My Heritage é ruim enquanto a ancestralidade na minha opinião, porém possui uma base muito boa enquanto os parentes genéticos.
Yes that happened to me , in genera I am 7% SSA but in my heritage I am 5,4 % that really surprised me because I didnt imagine the SSA component could fluctuate like that.But I blame on myheritage being worse, genera got all percentages about correct ( in relation to what I already knew from my family tree).Quote:

Lots of weird things on MyH the 31% italian they gave (23% in genera) makes no sense considering I also didnt got any , not a single low confidence genetic group in Italy, and I have no known italian ancestry in my family. My northwest european 16% in genera also disappeared in MyH (where I got 0% northwest europe) being replace by 5,1% scando and 1,7 Baltic.So I would say Myheritage take on ethnic composition is rubbish and not worth paying 100 reais for it , the genetic matches in myheritage are pretty fine tho.
