Indeed Qazaq is an original Turkic word.
It did not mean an ethnicity at first, but a social status.
Original meaning:
a free, independent warrior living outside the authority of any khan — a self-emancipated nomad, adventurer, or outlaw
Linguistic breakdown:
qaz- → to seek, to risk, to hunt
-aq → person who does that
I have sen the video. So basically no Turkic admixture whatsoever, not even a minor one.
