I would say mixed, because my father is adopted (& My mother don't want anything to do with heritage)

I was born in Germany, but my parents don't have a German surname. I don't know if I'm a mix, but I assume so. That's why I turn to this forum, because I don't know how to interpret the results. Especially 6% India or Semitic populations in "Mixed Mode Population Sharing" :confused:

You should buy 23andme or Ancestry dna test and after that you will have the most detailed information about your ancestry.

Adntro is far from reliable, especially for non Southern Europeans. (It showed me African heritage and a pretty high percentage at that, even though no other calculator, including Gedmatch showed me any at all)
As mentioned before, try 23andme, Ancestry or even MyHeritage.

Deinen GedMatch Ergebnissen nach zu urteilen bist du östlich geneigte Zentraleuopäerin (könnte durchaus Slowakei oder Ungarn sein), welche irgendwann wohl mal einen Ashkenazischen Vorfahren hatte.

What's your surname if I may ask, you can rep it to me. You also have minor Indian admixtures, could be partly gypsy. Based of those results I think you would plot probably around Eastern Germany /SW Poland? If we exclude the Indian component.

23andMe braucht meiner Erfahrung nach 2 Monate, allerdings ist der Versand nach Deutschland sehr teuer. Robic ist übrigens ein Kroatischer Nachname. Da dein Vater allerdings adoptiert wurde bedeutet das ja leider nichts.

Could you post me your puntDNAL K13 global oracle-4 results please? Gedmatch essentially predicts your ethnicity. But if you would be half Irish half Greek it would predict you to be German if you know what I mean.

So you plot around Slovakia and Ukraine, which I actually guessed because of the minor Indian admixture which shifts your results to SE towards Asia.

As for your ethnicity, my guess is that you are Roma. Maybe not full Roma, but with one Roma parent, and the rest a mix of Eastern European and Germanic.

Yeah, it is quite unlikely for her to have Indian or Roma ancestry.

Robić is a ethnic Croatian surname (peaking around central Croatia). Is it his birth surname or one given when he was adopted?

Just eyeballing it, I would say you're East German with some probable Austro-Hungarian ancestry

Btw. a stunning good kit with abt. 1.2 million SNPs (instead of usually abt. 0.7 million SNPs).

My guess would be Baltic/Scandinavian + an Ashkenazi grand parent. K13 is by far the most reliable here, this is also what your position suggests on a PCA.

You look to have results like an Eastern German. That can be true or artificially, i. e. by a mixture that resembles Eastern German.

Perhaps because East Germany, or at that time East Prussia, had a great influence with German settlers in Central Europe. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case that the results are similar :)

Second one looks okay as a parental split, assuming recombination resulted in you leaning to one parent. But that distance (9.7) is pretty high.

You may or may not be one eighth Tzigane as the initial test suggests. :)

I don't get why everybody talks about Roma when she scores 1% South Asian in K13 and DNAntro breakdown is usually wrong. The true puzzling part is the high east med and low west Asian combination. So the European side must be very low to zero west Asian, this is why in mix mode Finns pop up a lot.

Yes but they are in Europe for hundreds of years and they intermarried with white people. Its maybe your grandfather who could be roma.

Well the key is to get the closest match. Without the Indian admixture you would imo plot somewhere in eastern Germany or western Poland, now you plot around Slovakia/western UA radius.

Well, not exclusively, they have intermarried also. Do you know all your ancestors for the last 3 generations or so?

Maybe, but wouldn't that be displayed in the oracle mix mode (Roma, or even Gypsy)? Because, strangely enough, I tend to match Semitic populations there.
I shared 2 photos of my great-grandma in another post because (according to my cousin) she looks similar to the Ashkenazi phenotype. Maybe there's a connection?
