Even if G25 is an abstract model, there are patterns that samples from different regions follow. Yours makes no sense based on your ancestry. NW euro plotting like Mordvin from Russia is nonsense.

I have no theory as to why, but the Bell Beakers (who are NW Euros) are the same in that regards. Most NW Euros carry more farmer ancestry.

The distance is based on distance to Yamnaya. I don't plot on a PCA with actual Mordvins at the exclusion of other NW Euros, but with Scandinavians and Anglo-Saxons instead. Which is perfectly in line with my ancestry.

Like Davidski said, NW Euros and Eastern Euros have basically identical proportions of ancient ancestry.

There are Scandinavians who score less Anatolian than both of us on that calc:

Asega has more Eastern_Europe_15KYA than any Dutch or Icelandic sample of all the modern scaled official. Perhaps we are dealing with an outlier man? lol

Is anyone else on the forum here the extreme end/top/bottom of these groupings based on their own ethnicity?
