Yes, it's lighter. Hungary and Slovenia are quite similar in pigmentation, they are between Croatia/Bosnia and Czech Republic/Austria/Slovakia IMO.

Sockpuppet of IceT, tell me is God Albanian?
You spread fantasies here, Macure are I1-Z63. Since when this is Albo haplogroup?
Surnames Macura, Macurek, Macurski exist in Czechia, Poland and Ukraine. Macura surname is connected with Polish region Masuria (Mazury).
This map is wrong. White Serbia was never recorded there, only white Croatia.
https://external-content.duckduckgo....png&f=1&nofb=1
Only mention of northern Serbia as tribal state was in area where Sorbs live today, eastern Germany and western Czech Republic. Dervan was ruler of white Serbs.
And white Croats lived further east of them.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped.../ac/Dervan.png
Surname Macura is most common in Serbia, Bosnia, Slovakia, Czechia and Poland https://forebears.io/surnames/macura
There is no Macura surname among Shiptars, deal with it!
I1-Z63 Shiptars are shiptarized, only real Shiptars by male line are R1b-BY611, J2b2-M241 and some E-V13.
We are not your genetic relatives, and we are not connected with you culturally, linguistically, and by religion, and leave us alone! Your genetic relatives are Aromanians and Epirote Greeks. Culturally and religious you the closest to Turks. Linguistically you not related with anyone, linguistic black sheeps or white ravens of Europe.
No, there is no Croatian admixture in western Serbs, there are no any proves for that. Todays Croatia was deep into Illyrian territory, and pre-Slavic component of Serbs from Croatia is not Illyrian, but clearly Thracian.
Good evidence is my mixed mode oracle.

Ofcourse there is, troll, you must be mentally sick to deny that. Admixture is measured IBD sharing and not gedmach. Personally you look 0% Croatian (and genetically) to me but your lone example is meaningless.
Mixing was especially common in Dalmatia and lot of Croats converted to orthodoxy (as well as in western Bosnia). That's why western Serbs have quite a lot typical Croatian surnames that don't exist in Serbia or Montenegro at all.
Even Pribislav admited admixture of Serbs and Croats in Dalmatia, because it's well known. Even Voyt ancestors were Croats who converted to orthodoxy and today they are ''Serbs''. LMAO.
Southern Croats don't score North Italian like admixture in majority, because Bronze Age Dalmatians were pulled SE by Roman admix most likely. I score it because I am part German, my father has some Germanic like input too. North Italian is south Italian + German. Tuscan like admix is far more realistic and that's what majority get.
This is gedmatch of coastal (Čakavian) Dalmatian Croat whose full ancestry is native to Kaštela up to before Ottoman migrations. So he has no any ancestry from BiH or Štokavian speakers.

In some parts of Dalmatia mixing was relatively common, and in some it was very rare.
Relatively common: Vrlika Krajina, Cetina Krajina, Drniš Krajina
Very rare: Knin Krajina, Bukovica
For Ravni Kotari and Imotska Krajina I'm not sure, probably less than Vrlika/Cetina/Drniš and more than Knin/Bukovica.
The fact is that there was no any mixing between Serbs and Croatians in Dalmatia, but between Orthodox Serbs and Catholic Serbs (aka Bunjevci). Croatians lived in Kvarner far away from Serbs.
Serbian historian Vladimir Corovic writes in "History of the Serbian People" ->Quote:
Vukan Nemanjic, who led Zeta to the prince of Udion, was a Catholic and inherited the titles of Catholic Vojisavljevic. His sons were Orthodox, but in their time Orthodoxy did not spread to Zeta. For this reason, she was later assigned to the administration of Catholic Jelena Anzujska (1276-1309). After that, Zeta was given the "young kings" (Crown Heirs) of the Nemanjic, who were all Orthodox, but even then Orthodoxy was not accepted in Zeta. Balšići (with the exception of the last) are Catholics and admit the Pope. Stronger orthodoxy begins in the time of Crnojevic, who saved the Zeta Metropolis from ruin and transferred its seat from Boka to Vranjina, then to Cetinje. Orthodox conversios continued during the Ottoman period.
Quote:
"Contemporary reports provide a great deal of detail about how the Catholic population in the seventeenth century declined substantially in the interior of Turkey, much less in favor of Islam as much as in favor of Orthodoxy. Sima Milutinovic stated in his History of Montenegro that Bishop Ruvim of Cetinje translated into orthodoxy Kuce, Drekalovic and Bratonozic. Ruvim was a contemporary of Paysi and sat in the bishop's chair for a long time. Its activity is also confirmed by Roman accounts. There were 1633 Bjelopavlići people. 200 more Catholic houses, and in 1635. among Zeta and Moraca the number of Catholic souls did not exceed well over a thousand. Pipers, dating back to 1610. considered by almost everyone as a Catholic, they became, for the most part, Orthodox. In Popovo until 1627. out of 12 Catholic churches, 7 went into Orthodox hands; there were similar occurrences around Trebinje. There is also news of the conversion of Catholics to Orthodoxy in Srem, around Ruma and Mitrovica. The main reason for this was that the Catholic higher clergy, for the most part, were not allowed to live under the Turks, but remained largely in neighboring Christian countries. ”
No, it's not trolling but historical facts. Unlike Serbs, we don't claim all Catholic Slavic population was Croatian, but Catholic it was without any doubt.
Quote:
There was never Catholic converting in Montenegro, but any activity of the Catholic Church was merely an attempt to return the population to the Catholic faith.
Quote:
Now let's go back to the beginning. What is the logic behind the myth of the Catholicization of Serbs (and Montenegrins) west of the Drina-Tara-Komovi line? The logic is to deny the conversion of the ancestors -> "Our ancestors did not convert to Orthodoxy, but they always were, and the evil pope made them Catholic." These are fairy tales. Your ancestors are religious converts.
muslim, protestant , catholic convert projecting
well yeah, Krajina Serbs mixed with South Croats (Bunjevci), who also arrived to Krajina as newcomers, at the same time as the Serbs. they didn't mix much with the actual native Croats of that region, north Chakavians and Kajkavians, who have a lot of r1b, and autosomally a lot of North Atlantic and West Med. example of a Serb who could be modelled with such influence is Hungry Lion. but such results are rare.
So what if there were some religious changes centuries ago? Does that mean modern people aren't Serbian? Lol. Some Eastern Slavs (aka Russians) were also forced into Uniatism by the Polish elite. There were various other sects and schismatic groups. I myself have Catholic and sectarian ancestors. All of that has little to nothing to do with genetics.
Bunjevci are croatized in second half 19th and first half of 20th century. When they together with Orthodox Serbs settled in Krajina and Dalmatia they were not Croatians.
Milutin Dedić (brother of Arsen Dedić) about origin of Krka Bunjevci 28:29-30:20 https://youtu.be/oo1U2I3Vs5c?t=1709
Some Serbian Orthodox families carry clade of I2-PH908 which is marked as "Bunjevac" cluster, such as Došen from Lika, Polić from Bosanska Krajina, Ivančević from Kordun, Odobašić from Slavonski Brod etc. Their lines originated from western Herzegovina, once western Herzegovina was Serbian land.
Neither were Krajina Serbs Serbs in that time nor did they have any Serb identity. They became Serbs in 19th century during national awakenings because they were orthodox.
Western Herzegovina was always settled with Croats, and part of old Croatian medieval county Imota.
When you find some acheological traces of Serbs and their culture there, let us know. You may win awards. xD
Well, Orthodoxy, the Eastern rite is older than Western and early Slavic Christianity was more Eastern. Even in the Czech lands where it was preached by Sts. Cyril and Methodius. The Latins took them over only later.
Church Slavonic is part of all South Slavs' heritage.
Read about Serbian Orthodox monastery Labostin near Duvno from 13th century https://patriot.co.rs/tragom-srpskog...veka/?lang=lat
Do you know which is one of the oldest grave in Duvno area? It's Orthodox grave of Marta mother of Vuilo Bilanović from 16th century on Orthodox cemetery in Mandino Selo near Duvno.
https://forum.krstarica.com/attachme...2s-jpg.577128/
Bilanovići (R1a) lived in Mandino Selo until 1992, when Croatians expelled them. Today live in Banja Luka, around Belgrade and in diaspora.
Croatians committed genocide on Duvno Serbs 1941-45, and those who survived were expelled in 1992.
Duvno is heart of medieval Croatia, stop searching original Serbs there. I don't search original Croats in Raška.
Be careful with Split samples or from any bigger coastal city. Most of people there are not indigenious Čakavian Croats but Vlaji from hinterland.
Zadar is mixed with Italian and Arbanas (Albanian) element as well.
Southern Čakavians are best preserved in islands and smaller coastal towns and they seem very Slavic like that man from Kaštela.
I don't have gedmatch of my 23andme fully Islander matches and they score much higher eastern European than štokavian southern Croats.
No way they will be like Serbs, but significantly more Slavic unless Italian/Venetian input.
They are also visibly lighter than Štokavians. That population is certanly closest to medieval Croats and they should have highest amount of White Croat genetics.
You people claim Raška, Montenegro, Šumadija, and Slovenia to be originally Croatian lands. :picard1:
https://forum.krstarica.com/attachme...l2-png.666268/
What proven southern Čakavians you have seen? Only one I know is this one from Kaštela. But they must have strong Dalmatian Romance substrate, it's obvious in their dialect also.
Štokavians look significantly more Vlach/less Slavic on average, just saying. Not only color but facial features.
