Is my heritage actually as good/better than 23 and me in autosomal dna? Because there is a huge sale going on right now and I'm kind of interested in getting my parents tested lol.

Yep, as Davidski told me at some point, when I asked about the best test for Global 25, he advised that it's something like Ancestry>MyHeritage>LivingDNA=23andme v5
You can grab a couple of 23andme v5 kits, Ancestry, MyHeritage and LivingDNA from your DNA relatives.
Just plug them in a random GEDmatch calculator, but having worked so much with K13, I remember the number of tested SNPs for genealogical purposes of the top of my head.
It's like 170k for Ancestry, 75k MyHeritage, 58k for both LivingDNA and 23andme v5
If you are on 23andme v3 or v4 like me, which use in the region of 170k SNPs for this calculator, then there's no point to "upgrade" to Ancestry.
Unfortunately Ancestry is not available outside US and some countries in Western Europe, so my options are limited to MyHeritage, LivingDNA and 23andme.
Spoiler!
Well, as I already concluded, if your Moldovan side is typical for the Northern region, then your Ukrainian side must be Hutsul/Carpathian highlander-like. I was modeling you with West Ukrainians initially and didn't realise that Hutsuls, who are also West Ukrainians, are quite Southern compared to them.

This is the closest match I have. And it is through that Polish grandma. Their father is full Moldovan.
