if you check this simple pca you can see the Italic samples are clearly more west med shifted towards sardinians , and that South Italians have shifted eastwards and southwards compared to ancient greek samples, it doesnt take a genius to understand that this eastern and southern shift is due to Anatolian and Levantine admix and that the West med shift is due to Barcin + WHG

Tbh i'm not offended because you seem a pretty confused person. The sample I shared is largely Mycenaean and shows a heavy Tepecik component. Tepecik isn’t MENA at all,most papers lump it with Barcın as part of Early European Farmer (EEF) ancestry. You don’t seem to grasp that. Second, Terroni is an insult that (unfortunately) covers southern Italians and Sardinians(in addition to sardignolo, you have 2 for your joy), not central Italians. Ask anyone north of Tuscany,you’ll hear the same. MENA refers to Levant_PPNB and Taforalt. If you really want to stretch it, you can count IRN_Ganj_Dareh_N, though it fits better in a Caucasus cluster. Saying everything except Barcın, WHG, and Yamnaya is MENA is just your opinion. Remember, Yamnaya itself is a mix of CHG, and EHG.

ahah you are taking it way too personal when i am simply showing you scientific evidence, you seem to be the confused one on the topic and clearly dont have a solid grasp on how autosomal dna and G25 works, Tepecik ciftlik is much more mixed with Natufian and Zagros than Barcin is, Tepecik in europe is Only present in South italians, Greeks and Balkans because of imperial roman admix no other major european group has it instead they have Barcin which is mostly AHG+ minor zagros/Natufian and WHG

infact Tepecik is the main Farmer component in middle easternerns meaning that in europe it came from them..if the Italic samples were purely barcin, and modern italians are Tepecik it means that it came later through Imperial roman admixture..sigh

if you bring a cherrypicked high steppe sample then obviously its not gonna be close to sardinians, i showed you on the PCA with various individual samples that in general Italics were closer to modern day sardinians because of a west med WHG+Barcin component which is lacking in modern day southern italians..if you are ignoring the facts i cant do anything about it

Yes, Tepecik carries more Iran/Levant (10 %) than Barcın, but it’s still basically the same Anatolian Early Farmer block. Most papers lump both under the EEF umbrella you’re exaggerating the gap.

Nope. You can pick up a Tepecik-shift in central & northern Italy (Tuscany, Emilia), plus SE Spain, Provence and Balearics already in the Late Bronze Age. Imperial flow boosted it, sure, but it's doesn't appear the first time in 0AD

Greek + Phoenician colonies
Imperial Rome
