When you say Romanian larp as Romans what you really mean is "where do these uppity Romanians get off speaking a Romance language, why can't they speak some shitty sounding Slavic gibberish like the rest of us Eastern Euro?". Because we have good taste, that is why.

you misuse my words. I've said 1/3 of the county is inhabited by Ukrainians and other minorities and specified I meant the territory. Romanians have always inhabited the southern and eastern zones of Bucovina, which are much less forested and more populated. never claimed 1/3 of population, but 1/3 of the territory. then, at the time of the annexation of the region by Romania Ukrainians were anyway outnumbering Romanians. much of the difference to this day is the denationalization of the past century. the heavily forested northwest of the county was spared, due to isolation.

you put words in my mouth. never said that, I just have that thread about the outhouse, which is generic Eastern Euro stuff, not Romanian. of course Romania is #1 in the world with 40% of the people not having an inside toilet when it joined the European Union, but things are changing.

and it's not only about being backward - I still prefer to pee outside under the sky before going to bed, because it feels nicer than toilet. and many Romanians do the same. thank God they haven't corrupted all of us Eastern savages with the feminist agenda of peeing seated.

It's called hyperbole you humorless Slav. I was actually mildly amused by the outhouse thread and I don't mind joking about Romania but basically all you posts are anti-Romanian in one way or another. I wish you would just admit you're not Romanian, more like Polish or Ukrainian, who-knows.

I am a cynical sarcastic person. I am not more anti-Romanian than I am anti-anything. but here on TA speaking domestic stuff, I speak about Romania since I live here and am one. it's no agenda. I was complaining even more when I was to London, Bruxelles or Milan. I've always said thank God we don't get illegal immigrants, feminism etc. Romania is a heaven from that point of view. but it sucks from others and I will speak about it. there's no way I praise something unworthy just for national brotherhood, I don't believe in that, not with Romanians nor with Ukrainians etc.

We all know Romania has some issues and I'm not looking for Chamber of Commerce BS but don't act like everything is horrible. I'm in America and you are 5 times more likely to die from gun violence than Romania. There is far more homelessness and people with drug problems here. Who is really backwards? Pick on some other countries, hell, pick on the US, I don't care. Btw, you do realize that most Romanian Americans are fairly successful in the US so these stereotypes of Romanians you present are totally inconsistent with want I've seen in my own life. For his region he is visible southern genetically, and by the way he have Slavic surname with "schi" on the end, and he is from Arbore village.
