I don't have access to the data. Peterski has access to a lot of stuff, yet he can't just do it for the community, he wants me to send him something in return. Lol. All I have is some private individuals, I'm mainly (not exclusively) focused on East Slavs and former Soviet Union peoples.

The great GEDmatch database has been effectively sold out and destroyed by its old and new owners. Now all accounts whose owners haven't agreed to the new terms of service are blocked and will be irrevocably deleted in 12 months unless the owners log in and accept the TOS. What a shame. No one expected GM to go down so quickly.

Really? Are people in the US or Russia not being deleted? Many Russians I have don't live in Russia (23andme is unavailable in Russia). I checked a friend of mine, he lives in Russia and hadn't logged in for months. It wasn't working. Then I messaged him asking to agree to the TOS and when he did, the kit worked for me.

Why? I was actually talking about them making so many accounts unavailable against people's will, not about voluntary deletion (I could care less who owns the site, it's all the same to me).

i read somewhere it's just for the EU, because of some EU privacy regulation.
anyways, i checked a dozen kits and they don't work any more, and probably never will, i should have saved their k13 resulsts.

all kits remain blocked until the owners manually unblock them afaik.
and most of gedmatch are people who uploaded 5 years ago and don't log in regularly, so most kits are lost forever pretty much.

I guess the honest answer is that I can't be bothered anymore and I just saw it as an excuse.
