I tend to get lots of West Asian and South European which is unusual for a Hungarian. In the G25 model which I got from Davidski, I have 7.6% Anatolia_Tepecik_Ciftlik_N . I've seen Turkish, Azeri and other West Asian members getting the most of this, so I think this is a West Asian component. And it's almost identical to the amount I get on DNA.land. So I don't know. Maybe I'm right.

Personally I'm not avarage in any hungarian region.
On myheritage I'm related to people from my hometown (high confidence) through my maternal line. I knew they were my cousins but didn't know they tested themselves, I know they're of slovak origins like me. According to myheritage breakdown they're more balkan and less eastern euro than me.Quote:

Sometimes you inherit more specific admixture than parents. For example I am more northern shifted than both of my parents. We didn't test with same company though so maybe that's a reason (their test had significantly less SNPs). You know when people wonder why two siblings look completely different while having same DNA? It's because actually they might not have identical DNA, one inherited more of specific DNA than other.Quote:

Dunai made Alfoldi average from samples native to both north and south of great Hungarian plain. Maybe you can ask him to send you results only from southern Alfold to compare. He has them.
