Yes, Polako still takes 23andMe data. But I think your grandparents must be of the same ethnicity to be able to join the project.

In other words you can be only one ethnic group? 3 of my grandparents are German, the 4th is an American colonial mutt.

Well, Polako uses some mixed persons - such as RU19(he from US - on 3/4Russian and 1/4 unknown) and RU23 .
So if he uses them, it is likely some other members eurogenes may be also mixed.
