In Brazil we have light pardos and darker whites that have a more fluid classification, those people can declare to be pardo and one two months later to be white and one year later to be pardo again and to me its not wrong at all, persons with a phenotype like the actrees Gal Gadot, The Wonder Woman, would fall under this fluid category and ofc thats not a Brazilian thing, many other countries in Latam and even outside Latam have similar situations. These persons with phenotypes like Lula/Fernando Henrique/Patrícia Poeta/Bruna Marquezine classify themselves according to feelings and experiences they had lately, so it can change along time, to me its not wrong, I just respect it. Actually, I think white brazilians as an average pass easily among europeans than the white hispanic average.
For comparison, a true typical average pardo is someone like Neymar. Half are lighter than him and half darker. The 10-20% lighter pardos would have a heavily proximity with caucasian phenotypes.
