Just some Hard-facts: Finno-Ugric language group was born in N-Eastern Europe (in the Elbe- Baltic Sea - URal region), until the roots of ancient IE language groups go back to Asian continent (Anatolia). In the Eurasian supercontinent, there are more native speakers of IE languages in the ASIAN continent than in Europen continent. (Just remember the large IE speaking populations of India Pakistan Iran)
However, the 97% of Finno-ugric speaking people live in Europe. Therefore to call finno-ugric languages as "asian languages" is laughable illogical, unscientific and misleading.

The IE linguistic effect spreaded as a lingua franca and as a „dealer language” between many many populations during thousands of years) The real genetic IE people equal with indians and iranians in the Asian continent. Therefore being real descendants of proto Indo-Europeans represent lower culture, technology & lower scientific and economic development in the Eurasian continent.

Okay, but what does it have to do with GENETICS? Even ethnic Russians are not Asian, we're still over 90% West Eurasian genetically, even Northern Russians. I could show you my mom's family, she is Northern Russian. Of course, the East Eurasian influence is more noticeable in Russia than in, say, Poland, that's totally understandable, but for example Belarus is much less influenced (below 5%). That's why I identify more with Belarus, because I personally don't feel close to Siberian and Islamic peoples of Russia.
Europe is not only Germany or France, it normally extends to the European part of Russia geographically.

This man is Dravidian looking. About Finno-Ugric languages, they originated from Ural, and Ural was settled by Mongoloids in ancient time. Still today we can see this traits among Finnish people. Hungarians are heavily mixed with other their caucasoid neighbours, and their asiatic looking is now rare. But their Finno-Ugric relatives, who stayed in Ural today are totally Mongoloid people, also with highest Finno-Ugric genetical purity.

Nowadays the highest amount of Steppe-related ancestry is observed in Northern Europe.
Anyway, light features became common only sometime in the Bronze age. The Yamnaya is older than the Corded Ware and Sintashta who were obviously white.

And the EHG part of it brought much of the light features such as blond hair and blue/gray eyes. Plus, they were taller than other populations of Europe.

Btw, Stears is southern Hungarian. His mother comes from SOUTHERN Transdanubia and on top of that has Croatian ancestry, and his father comes from extreme south-east of Transylvania.
