Top academic studies are worth shit if they are contradicted by history and common sense:
- Russians, being Slavs, originate from a region nearby Corded Ware homeland. That region (N Ukraine, S Belarus) was sparsely inhabited, battered by wave after wave of Aryan invasions until Balto-Slavs were born.
- Iberians, lived on the furthest side to Aryans' homeland in a region that was densely inhabited (as all Mediterranean Europe, Balkans included, during Neolithic and Antiquity). They only suffered from relatively sparse Keltic and to a much lesser extent Germanic invasions, even managed to keep their language in large parts of peninsula for a very long time (Basque being their living remnant).
You just cannot compare the two and phenotypes, as always, roughly reflect history. For example, a couple of days ago I saw a footage from Leipzig and Dresden... The level of Slavic influence there is enormous, so much so they pass better as Russian than as Danish. Why? Because those areas were settled by Slavs (even the two placenames are Slavic), then latter were gradually absorbed by Germans.
It's not that generic oracles are worthless by definition: they just didn't reach a level where they are reliable enough to be taken seriously without a big grain of salt. Racial anthropology is unfortunately still more reliable...
