I doubt your ancestors lived in the narrow slither of modern day Russia that was included in the Pale. Do you mean Belarus or Ukraine? Is your Polish side northeastern? You don't have to state the exact towns.

So, what I have managed to find out is that part of my Russian side were from Kiev.
