Is ftdna still worth uploading to? I was thinking about uploading my dad's data.

Why not. I uploaded my father’s and found he has a match from this forum. Matching is free

I think it is. I get my close relatives just right at FtDna. 23andme doesn't make difference between relatives. Real second and fifth cousins are just the same.

This happened just after they launched FF, so they probably still made tweaks. These companies make always tweaks, because autosomal dna is not a piece of cake. For example I have very looong IBDs with Latvians giving false results, but they obviously delete them in a standard process.

Most common surnames of my FF are
46 Johansson 45 Andersson 39 Eriksson. Sounds stupid.
