That story really took me aback, and it was a good thing that no one was killed (one mistake)! I have a story about our neighbors when I was a kid, and it's somewhat akin to your story, but it involves a dog that was tortured by these boys. I tried to stop it, but I was attacked and threatened. These kids were like the Bathory clan in Hungary. I won't relate the whole story on the forum, but I would via IMs. The silver lining was that the dog survived, which was miraculous since they went all Dark Ages on it. All I could do was watch. I won't say why here, but I probably would be disabled or disfigured if I intervened, and I might have died (not dramatic to say that).
Yep, my ancestors and relatives were from there. I can find roads, streets, landmarks, towns, etc. with their names on them. I wanted to ask you about something. Check out post #149 in this thread, and tell me if you guys had any fads or news dealing with satanism back then. It was like the Salem witch trials when I was a kid. It makes me cringe that I bought into the ghost stories and tall tales when I was a kid, and I also thought that the Rapture came and went without me a couple times. :D We came over to my uncle's house, and everybody but my other uncle were gone from the room, and there was a breaking news story on the TV. We asked where everybody went, and he pointed his finger upwards without a word (he seemed upset). He meant that they were upstairs, but I thought that he meant they were in Heaven. I panicked because I thought that I missed the Rapture. :picard2: I likely read too many Jack Chick comics and tracts. Of course, he doesn't seem quite that extreme when I look at *this* crazy world.
Man that is horrible, I mean sure I stabbed a kid that was coming at me with a Shiv but thats just a reflex but to set out to torture
anything especially an animal that is not my style.
Except theoretically I would torture someone in vengeance such as if they tried and succeeded with deliberation to destroy my life or hurt those close to me.
But I stand against random violent acts to anyone and especially Dogs.
It was nice of you to try and stop it but sounds like it was pretty heavy situation, I hope those guys got what they deserved.
When I was around 13 a friend of mine who was kinda a bad influence had got hold of some pills off his older brother. Im not certain what they were but may have been qualudes. This was not something I did but on my friends suggestion we popped a bunch pills then took a walk through
the city streets. Somehow we had come across an empty building that we decided to explore it had an abandoned office inside it.
The office was enclosed by glass screens and a door and had a desk with cabinets and other things.
By this stage the pills had taken affect and we were super stoned and not in the best way.
Suddenly my Buddy of bad influence turns into a Viking Bezerker and for some unknown reason decides to smash up the abandoned office.
He kicks the door open then starts smashing up the glass screens. Im screaming at him to stop but his not listening so I grab hold of him
and judo trip him to the ground and both of us are wrestling on the floor of this abandoned office building.
Underneath me are broken chards of glass from the screen he broke, but due to being stoned from the pills and my adrenaline pumping from
beating the shit out of my Bezerker buddy I did not notice a chard of glass had stabbed the back of my leg and my jeans were covered in blood.
Suddenly we heard someone yell out and we both jumped up and ran like hell out of that place.
I went back home and didnt even realise my jeans were covered in blood untill my mother screamed when she saw me walk in with blood all down my leg.
I still have the scar on the back of my leg, I tended to avoid hospitals it was nothing a warm shower and home made bandage couldn't fix who wants to get stitches anyway.
Yes I knew about the Satanic Panic stuff.
In my early twenties I worked security for an organisation and somehow through them I got invited to a one full day information conference - course about Satanic Cults.
The course was run by 2 German women who claimed to have been survivors of a generational satanic cult that they were supposedly born into.
It was freaky shit, they told stories of human sacrifice and abuse and certain dates when Rituals or Sacrifices would be done.
Maybe ther was a speck of truth to it but overall it seemed massively exaggerated and sensationalised. These two women were warning us that Satanic cults were everywhere. They of course were charging attendence for the Course and hence it essentially was nice little buisiness money spinner for them as was the many books written in the time by so called satanic cult survivors.
The Satanic Panic was prevalent at end of the 80's and into the very early 90's then seemed to fade away.
That kid kicked a knife that almost hit me, which was why your story brought it to mind. I'll just tell you the gruesome details since this isn't a kindergarten forum. Their dog got pregnant, so they blamed a random dog for it, and they brought him into their backyard and closed and locked the gate. The devil boy beat the dog with a baseball bat, and it bled all over the place. I was about to jump the fence. The second devil boy stood guard against me with this huge pot of boiling oil or water. His older brother told him to splash that on me if I got on the fence! He was ready, so I was stuck there, and they eventually released the bleeding dog, and I should have called the police, but we were all in grade school!
I think that most of those stories are BS. Mike Warnke wrote a book about his alleged experience in an evil cult before the panic, and all of the stories after his sound a lot like his claims with tweaks here and there. There might be some generational cult(s) at some point in history, but i think 98% of these claims are exaggerations at best. They part the gullible from their cash, and some "survivors" probably are psychotic.
Now, I will say that I met an actual satanic high priest. I don't know how large or small his cult was, but, as God as my witness, I met this guy. My uncle performed an exorcism on him at his church, and he joined it. I never saw the ceremony, but my uncle's face turned white when my cousin asked him about it, so it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience.
Here in the UK at that time and into the early 90's, there were scandals mainly in the North of England about children being taken away from their parents by social services due to their parents being suspected/accused of Devil worship too.
This is still going on.
The title of the article greatly minimises what happened:
Eleven accused of child sex abuse ring and 'witchcraft' in Glasgow

Occult/satanic/ritual murders occurred in the 1980s and continue today.
Occult aesthetics and symbolism is very popular among the elite, I wonder why. I can only imagine what they are doing.
Of course the elite secret societies have been occultist for hundreds of years.
In the 1980s, some of the prominent cults and scandals had connections to the military and intelligence services.
Such as the Presidio scandal (Lt. Col. Aquino) or the Finders: https://vault.fbi.gov/the-finders
Even Oprah was talking about elite satanic ritual abuse in 1989:

The US is full of these sickos, probably other countries as well, so is Hollywood. Life imitates art? Or art imitates life?
