Hands down. Germanic
Hands down. Germanic
Yes but British and German Americans are not a ethnically homologous group, they only made it what it is today because most Immigration came from Britian and Germany, they did not allow Immigration from elsewhere in Europe. This was a time when the WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) delusion was strong even when English Americans are proven to be 25-35% Germanic depending on the person with the rest of their ancestry being 18% Middle Eastern Farmer ancestry with the rest being Celtic. The preference was for English and assimilated Germans (only those who had assimilated and lost their accent, spoke perfect english).
According to your logic, the past doesn't matter when we see so much of the past influence of Latin/Greek Culture and Civilization in our society today. The Roman Empire and Greece laid the foundation for Various Sciences, Medicine,Law,Philosophy,Government, Architecture, Literature, Language and more for all of Western Civilization.
The language we speak and are typing now comes from the Latin Alphabet, 60% of this language comes from Latin/French/Greek. Calendars, Cycles/Months of the year, Modern Architecture, Society and Culture itself is greatly influenced by Ancient Greece/Rome, you can't see it because it has become almost unnoticeable in a society and culture that has been ingrained with us since we were born.
Most of all, out of all Western Nations, the United States is one of the most influenced by Ancient Rome, it is literally the mirror Image of Ancient Rome in modern times except without the race mixing/racial melting pot since the vast majority of people in the Roman Empire were all Caucasoid.

America is even named after an Italian. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amerigo_Vespucci
Have fun with your Germanic supremacy bias, you should really lose this bias now if you are mostly English or half English ethnically because English are more Celtic than they are Germanic.
Aha, so you refer exclusively to the territory of the USA,and not to America in general. But even so, I think Frenchmen, Germans, Irishmen, Spaniards, Black Africans and the millions of immigrants from Europe received during the XIX centuries and in the XXth century inter-war periods can claim also to be responsible for the advancements in technology, economy and society occured in the US, particularly in the XXth century, when it rose to the position of a superpower.
What the fuck is going on with that poll?
You've missed some other inventions at the Latin Culture's part, but it's okay, I can help you with my virtually "speech":
Insulin
Ejection seat
Hyper CD-ROM
Gerovital
Diorama
Cholera vaccine
Synchronization gear
Sonic drilling
You're welcome!
100,002 voters for Germanic. Amazing.
