What's the best DIY Calculator or Calculator on Gedmatch for Hispanic/Latino Ancestry?

You won't have Middle Easterners in the oracles because your African and European side dilutes the Arab one very much, even your Amerindian side is very low. This person (A850867) is half mixed European half African and strangely scores more East_Med than you do.

the only way you can know that is genealogically, since hispanic/latino is a mixed heritage, you can separate the native American in calculators, but can't separate "Spanish" DNA from other European you may have, it's kinda pointless really. But if you wanna try, go ahead.

exactly, that's what im wondering whatsup because according to my knowledge, and according to Doug McDonald, and many other people who create their own DIY Calculators they say that i definitely have matches from the Mideast/North Africa but they only can't tell me exactly what the percentage is, Mephisto from Anthrogenica estimated it was 10-14%, Doug McDonald said it was around 10% but he definitely wasn't sure, here check this out maybe you'll find this interesting.

as you can see the Mideast is DEFINITELY present in my chromosomes so it can't be any less than 14% IMO, if my African is 25%, and my Middle Eastern component is nearly as prominent as my African it can't be any lower than 15% IMO.


Also incase your interested in my Phenotype this is what i look like so you can see if i have any Arabian vibes/Traits in my pheno, people also say i look very Egyptian.

Well no thank you then, if it's pointless then what's the point of trying haha. Besides i go by the estimations of my own family, i have a great grandmother with the surname "da Costa Gomez" Well if that doesn't sound Iberian or Latinx then i don't know what does. Also i have a swarthy French ancestor from my dad's side, he looks like he could have possible moor ancestry so yeah. Im pretty convinced that i do have Mediterranean ancestry.

Those numbers are very contrasted. Was your parent or grandparent basically 100% sub saharan African and the other parent 100% Northern European?

^ this test isnt to be taken seriously btw. i know for a fact im not 75% european, nor danish, or half danish. infact, im not even scandinavian admixed xD


eitherway, my mom was 55-65% West African + Bantu, 34% Ethiopian, 5-15% Dutch, and 4-5% Caquetio (native caribbean)


my father is on the contrary 100% west european as far as i am concerned (predominantly german, celtic/british, scottish, and Southern french, of which could also be partially algerian im not sure)



these results that other services gave me were far more reliable:


MyGenomeBox: 54.14% European, 41.72% African, 4.14% Amerind.

Xcode Life 2.0: 44.12% European, 23.92% Subsaharan African, 17.02% Ethiopian, 5.85% North African

of which i think is completely inaccurate. because im only 2-3% Amerindian but probably majority belongs to my european or african.
