the new 23andme chip is only compatible with genesis. I ordered 23andme recently. Currently, gedmatch is more accurate than genesis, at least this the impression i got from visiting various blogs and forums.

Well, it's more suited for Northern and Southern Europeans or maybe for Europeans in general. For example the Pashtun member Mingle is like 7/8 South Asian and 1/8 Middle Eastern on 23andme which doesn't say much about his ancestry. Also, FF and MH provide the best raw data judging by the amount of SNPs.
Does this effect only oracles or also the admixture chart? Because on Genesis I get unusually high levels of Atlantic and East Europe and unusually low levels of west med, which obviously skews the oracles.Quote:
