the new 23andme chip is only compatible with genesis. I ordered 23andme recently. Currently, gedmatch is more accurate than genesis, at least this the impression i got from visiting various blogs and forums.

Normal Gedmatch
It is all based on sample data. Gedmatch Genesis as far as I know is newer and has fewer samples in its database for comparison.
For instance once calculator with my livingDNA file on Genesis said I was 90 percent Norwegian in 2-way pop mix, which is obviously horse shit. I would say Gedmatch for now is more accurate.
Well, it's more suited for Northern and Southern Europeans or maybe for Europeans in general. For example the Pashtun member Mingle is like 7/8 South Asian and 1/8 Middle Eastern on 23andme which doesn't say much about his ancestry. They simply include Afghanistan in the same group with Bangladesh. You can also check out this Hazara/Turkmen guy's results

Almost 7% was left unassigned while Europeans and East Asians usually get less than 1% unassigned, sometimes even zero.
Also, FF and MH provide the best raw data judging by the amount of SNPs.
Interesting... Do these increased SNP counts result in significantly different calculations? I've been thinking for a while about trying a new DNA test, and I'd like to get my hands on one that has the best raw data file. Judging by comparisons in GEDmatch between AncestryDNA and 23andme, the results are practically the same. However, I have seen some peculiar results with LivingDNA, which gave one user an almost 5% variance in admixture runs in comparison to 23andme, which of course altered his oracles in an interesting way. Would the new version of FTDNA provide a similar result?
