I did not make this assumption based on his appearance but on his origin. I would expect north-western Italians to be closer to southern France genetically. This Italian region must have Gaulish admixture.

I'm more EEF than Bergamo average (and I've low Baltic). Don't know if Bergamo sample is more similar to S. French or Iberian people, but in my area, on the mountains, there's a pseudo-Basque tendency due to the Neolithic (Bergamask Prealps and Alps).

It may be the best calculator for many Europeans but not all. For me, puntDNAL K13 Global works much better,
