To sum up Bosniaks are by local origin either Croats (western BiH), Serbs (eastern BiH) or Albanians (Sandžak). Simple as that.
According to the historian Noel Malcolm , there weren't any Serbs in Bosnia prior to Ottomans , he writes this in his book ''Bosnia, a short history'' ... he claims some Bosnians either became Serbs and that some Serbs also migrated into Bosnia from Montenegro during Ottoman Empire which could explain why some Serbs from Bosnia match Albanian Ghegs, because their ancestors came from areas close to Malesor Albanians.
This is a fact: South Slavs brought siberian admixture with them. For example, my granpa who's more slavic shifted than me ends up scoring 1.4% siberean, whereas I myself score in the 0%-0.5% range.
