She's a Bell Beaker so she shouldn't really be dark skinned. HGs were but Bell Beakers should be pretty similar to modern day Isles populations. H is the most common mtdna in Europe today.Quote:

Thanks for that. All the Bell Beakers came from the Continent. They were very northern genetically but Yamnaya were darker skinned as well. Bell Beakers though are much closer in time and I know Rathlin carried the genes for blue eyes, had lighter hair and were lactose tolerant so it is strange Ava is so different. Maybe some Bell Beakers were lactose intolerant and some not.Quote:
