a) North Macedonians originally the same people as Bulgarians but splintered off and developed their
own identity and nuanced/specific culture.

b) are North Macedonians a historically seperate people with historical seperate identity but are similiar to Bulgarians.

C) North Macedonians a mixture of A & B.

D) North Macedonians a mixture of slavic speaking Bulgarians and Serbs.

I have asked this question here a few times and interestingly people seem to wanna avoid answering it.
Which seems weird because if someone asked are Bosnians originally Serb or Croats or Bosniaks, people are quite happy to give their oppinions and care little bout offending anyone.
But the Bulgarian - North Macedonian question often seems to be avoided.

Macedonians were all the time identified as Bulgarians. They were brainwashed by Communists.
Regional differences exist among the French, Italians, Poles etc.
Also, those percentages of Slavic blood in the Balkans are internet pseudoscience.
