It's a good thing that the tribal enrolling system is closed to people south of the border, cuz otherwise, Mexicans alone would be enough to break it beyond any possibility of repair.

Yeah lots of Mexicans who migrate to the U.S. claim to be Native, but they can't enroll in U.S. tribes because they are from Mexican tribes. BTW here is a good website about Native Mexicans - www.indigenousmexico.org/.
Cherokee are a common myth due to their location (before the Trail of Tears) and early 1800s settlement patterns:

The branch of my family that claimed to have Cherokee lived in East Tennessee a few generations earlier, in Sevier county, where a lot of violent conflict arose between the mountain settlers and Cherokee. A lot of these families were huge and later went west, like mine, and so many, many white Americans have been told they have a, “Cherokee” ancestor.
The role of the Applachian mountains in American history and current culture is immense.
I don’t understand the Blackfoot, maybe someone else here does, but I have heard it from black people before. Geographically, it doesn’t add up.
I tried to replicate the same model which Andrei proposed using G25 coordinates, the result is similar:
Target: Sioux(n=2)
Distance: 2.7709% / 0.02770929

39.4 USA_Ancient_Beringian.SG

But if we use Kennewick Man instead of Spirit Cave, then already much less of Beringian is required:

So Kennewick was already largely descended from the 2nd wave. It shows that this 2nd wave was very ancient.Code:USA_WA_Kennewick.SG,0.045529,-0.307705,0.107857,0.079781,-0.104019,-0.019243,-0.22373,-0.263758,-0.013294,-0.01549,0.00065,-0.004796,0,0.014863,-0.009229,0.01074,0.006258,0.010515,0.009804,0.003252,0.004118,-0.00779,-0.006039,0.003012,-0.003473

Maybe, or it could be intertribal contact with the Stockbridge-Munsee since their relocation to Wisconsin? They are part of the Algonquin language family, whereas the Crow and the Sioux are both of the Siouan language family together. It’s interesting to see, the Shawnee are also of the Algonquin language tree:
