It depends on where. Northeast Scotland is only 20% Germanic, which is lower than anywhere in Western England. Northeast England is 34% Germanic, which is also lower than many parts of Western England. However, things do start to look a lot more Germanic once you hit Yorkshire and further south in England.

There's also the counterintuitive fact that most of Eastern Scotland is in the Western half of Britain. So there's no sense in talking about Eastern or Northern Britain ethnically when you can just say England or Scotland. And no sense in making a big distinction between Eastern and Western England, when the likes of Worcestershire and Dorset are basically as Germanic as East Anglia, and more so than Northumberland/Durham.
