Yes, it makes sense since North European DNA seems to correlate so closely with Indo-Europeans that Finns were previously Indo-European!
I really do not think that the North European component when seen in modern Europeans is composed of pure Mesolithic genes. It is probably a hybrid of Mesolithic and Neolithic genes. The question then is how much of it is from Mesolithic Europeans and how much from Neolithic Europeans?Quote:
