I thought one genetic test you took showed you have ancestors in North African Berber's arn't they related to Southwest Asian?

DNAtribes is a bloody disaster. They once had western Iberians down as something like 11-12% Finnic. :picard2:
DNAtribes is close to a con.
On a side note you know that Philistines and Scythopolis, were most likely Indo-Europeans, and settled in East Med.

West Asian needs to be better explained.
It's situation is similar with the Mediterranean component and North Africa. West Asian besides many regions has peaks in a light people of North Caucasus while at the same time it has a peak in other countries who usually have other more foreign influences so people have a mixed feeling about it.
On calculators it is very close to Northern European.

I reckon Albion is clearly a mix of NW English/British Isles + Norse, he clusters with the Danish + Evon's family on the PCA, although probably with the Orcadians or Irish on the Oracle. I'll let him decide though.

Some West Asian, wonder where that came from?
That's what i was thinking, but felt it's a question worth asking anyway, as 2% or thereabouts is more normal.
I think if the two components are very similar, the fact his father gets a lot of one and none of the other is probably just luck of the draw, could have 3.5% of each and it would be perfectly normal but explain the same sort of background. After all the countries high in East Med are also high in West Asian, and vice versa in many areas.
