These days we are talking about the most recent genetic study on the population of the British Isles. It has been carried out by several institutions, including the University of Cantabria.Quote:
I found this interesting study that got me thinking about what my own results were in the final bronze, so I did it.

This study proposes that the human groups that arrived in southern Britain between 1300 and 800 BC were responsible for at least half of the genetic ancestry of later populations.
This means that between 1000 and 875 B.C. these migrants had already fully mixed with the population there. 800 individuals from the Bronze and Iron Ages were sampled from sites located in continental Europe and the island of Great Britain.
The research does not make it possible to know with certainty the origin of these populations, although the territory of present-day France is proposed as a probable place of origin, but other origins are not ruled out.
Among the conclusions of the study was that these island populations had a high tolerance to lactose. Thanks to this study, the great importance of pastoralism for these populations is revealed.
Another interesting conclusion is that these new dates may give us clues as to when the first Celtic languages arrived on the islands, and confirm that it was during the Bronze Age, not during the Iron Age, as proposed by the Hallstatt-La Tčne theory of origin, which has already been widely questioned.
I just got my DNA results today
whats the deal with the Illyrian results tho

Ancestral Globe
The Ancestral Globe allows you to visually see all the ancient samples which match your DNA. This includes Sample Matches shown in red or blue which match the same genetic signatures as your own DNA evidencing common ancestral roots, and Deep Dive matches in yellow which share actual DNA segments (evidencing direct common ancestry between you and the sample). The number of samples visible depends on your Access Level.
