Word "Bosnia" originate or from Illyrians, or from Avars. But the present-day population of Bosnia have nothing to do with Turks. Also, Bosnian rulers used Avar titles as "ban" but they weren't of Avar origin. The reason is that Croats took it from Avars after Croats defeated them under the voivode Zvonimir lead them in Balkans.Quote:
