The vast majority of Romanians from Transylvania are closer to those from Oltenia than to local Hungarians though. That's what most of my posts in this thread show. But there are some who are closer to Hungarians of course.

Not sure what you mean but Hungarians from Romania are genetically a blend of Romanians and Hungarians from Hungary with elevated levels of Mongoloid. They have more Mongoloid than both Romanians and Hungarians from Hungary, so ethnic Hungarians from Romania have most likely more conqueror ancestry than those from Hungary (unless Turks/Tatars/Mongol rapists specifically targeted ethnic Hungarians of Transylvania, that's very unlikely).
Hungarians from Romania are more Balkan/Romanian by genetics than those from Hungary but they're still closer to Hungary_avarage than to Romania_avarage.

and genetics don't necessarily correlate with looks that strictly. Moldova_avarage is more like Serbia_avarage than Romania_avarage but I doubt people would say Moldovans look more like Serbs than Romanians.
Conqueror ancestry is obvious in Hungarians from Romania (in Hungarians from Hungary less so), however this isn't the only difference between them and ethnic Romanians

Ethnic Romanians also have some Mong, but less than this.
Vahaduo k13's Tatar sample is Crimean Tatar or Volga tatar?
That's because all admixture with Bulgaro-Romanians (at that time RO/BG were one bilingual people) occurred in middle ages when Magyars settled (converting many natives to Catholicism, intermarrying and making offspring speak their language) but from that moment on it was minimal until 20th century due to cultural/religious differences. There was admixture with Germans, as well, but it kind of stopped due to religious differences after reformation (Germans becoming Lutheran, Hungarians becoming Calvinist/Catholic/Unitarian).
Physically speaking, Romanian Hungarians show more conqueror admixture than 5%, that's for sure!
Transylvanian Saxons always had different religion than Romanians, but the Transylvanian Saxon results posted in this thread look quite mixed, they obviously have Romainan admixture. Or maybe they mixed with Hungarians? Idk, but in any case their results look mixed.

You're making an inappropriate comparison and draw an incorrect conclusion.
Romania is a big country, what's the point of comparing Transylvanian Hungarians with Romanian average? Transylvanian Hungarians are closer to Northern Moldovans (from Romania, not RM) than to Hungarian average. This make perfect sense from a historical standpoint, because Transylvanian Hungarians are from Northern Transylvania (former Maramures principality), which is the province that colonized Moldova.
