Sandžakian Bosniaks are quite swarthy, they are clearly darker than any Serbian group.
The lightest Bosniaks are from Podrinje and northeastern Bosnia. First one mostly originated from western Serbia, and second one Pannonia and western Serbia.

Part of Bosniaks of NE Bosnia originated from western Serbia. When Muslims are removed from Užice, Belgrade, Valjevo, Šabac, Loznica in 1860s Muslim population of Tuzla area has grown significantly. Šamac was formed from Muslim refugees from Serbia in 1860s.
Bosniaks extremely mixed looking. But they have some Germanic looking types extreme rare to find among Croats or Serbs.
I used think Bosnensis atypical be he not, he look like Dino Merlin who is Bosniak. He is typical muslim face.
But, I have never seen Croats like this:

Nice cherrypicking. :thumb001:
In Podrinje can be found more gingers than in other parts of Bosnia (among both Serbs and Bosniaks). Reason is simple, Saxon miner lived there in the middle age and in Ottoman time Orthodoxes and Muslims absorbed them. There is village Sase near Srebrenica, name is clearly related with presence of Saxon miners https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sase,_Srebrenica
Serbian girl from Skelani near Srebrenica.

From Hungary or from Slavonia?
Many Bosanska Krajina Muslims have legends about origin from Anatolia. Most of that legends are invented, because among Muslims it was more popular be of Anatolian origin than orginary poturica.
Still Bosanska Muslims some exotic haplogroups in small % (G1, R1a-Z93, E-M81, T, L) which are probably of Anatolian origin.

They have higher J2b-M205 and N-P189.2 than Bosniaks from other parts of Bosnia. First clade originated from Kriči and second from Banjani in Old Herzegovina (present day western Montenegro).
Bosniensis is I2-PH908 and his paternal line came to Bosanska (Cazinska) Krajina from eastern Herzegovina.
^^^^^Hungary. They came to Dubica after Ottoman Army retreated from Hungary in 17th century. Actually Serbian member found this information about my family.
He's J2b1 I think,is active on Poreklo and was on Anthroscape. Nesa/Ness was his username.
Some info from old article about Dubica

Here they mention how a girl from our family was hanged by Ustaše because of helping partisans. My grandpa bring flowers to her corpse, and than he was sent to Jasenovac, which was very close, for 3 months.

You said Bosniaks have origin from Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Montrnegro. Yes, and also many them have Herzegovinian origin. Often in history Bosnia was populated from Herzegovina. And Herzegovina (Zahumlje) often gave ruling elite to Bosnia, in the middle age and in Ottoman time. Herzegovina/Hezegovinians were always superior towards the Bosnia/Bosnians. :)
So Bosniaks are about 20% R1a? I believe Croats are like 25-30%.
