It's usually by chance, but if you are lucky then you will see strong matches at the top (70cm+) for someone. In cases like this they could descend from same or nearby localities. Another trick is to take two kits from a region/locality and use them for "People who match both, or 1 of 2 kits". It's a tedious process, there is no easy way for this, as GEDmatch doesn't have a proper global search function. You can only search for those surnames that have trees.Quote:
