My guess is those from the southern part of Moldova will score very differently. The Moldovan samples on G25 are from a new paper and they are more Balkan shifted than Romanians and Bulgarians. I don't know exactly where they're from, but based on how Balkan shifted they are, my guess is they must be from the far south based on how they score. Also, I've noticed that all the Moldovan results posted so far (the few that have been posted) were from the north (maybe the central as well?), but none from the south.Quote:

The guy says he thinks he is 1/8 Russian by the way. It sounds like a family story that may not be true though. He didn't get any Russian regions (or regions from other Slavic countries) on 23andMe and all his relatives are only Romanian-speaking.
Also, he's I-CTS5966.
