Depends on the type of Egyptian, no?
Funnily enough, the only "Egyptians" I'd seen as a teen, were on tv, and one of them was from The Mummy ("sons of the pharaohs!") - Dr. Bey, played by
Erick Avari. I found out he wasn't even Egyptian, but born in Bengal (Darjeeling, West Bengal).
A few years back, I met an actual Egyptian guy, a Christian Coptic. And he looked EXACTLY like Erick Avari. Lol!
Funnily enough, he thought I was Coptic, too!
Anyway, the other Egyptian I'd seen was Omar Sharif and he looked VERY Pakistani.
So, as far as the topic goes, I'd say closer to Pakistani than Turkish but then, weird subgroups can look very, VERY different.
