There are two different "th" sounds in English of course, voiced and unvoiced.

I don't mind if the Eastern neighbours spell "Belorussia". I'm just a bit wondering how they don't feel lazy to pronounce five syllables instead of just three ("Be-lo-ru-ssi-ya" instead of "Be-la-rus")? :o It is none of my business, though.
The city had a lot of interesting things to see such as the church (can't remember the name of it but it was big), and Mir Castle. Brest was a pretty clean city, it had a nice cozy feeling to it. The environment was really nice, I liked the trees, the landscape in general. :)Quote:
