I got you. However, I see that Canarians and Andalusians, for example, also cluster more north than Basques, Riojans, Navarres and South western French, among others, which is kind of strange to me.

This is great -- proves my belief that there are 2 clusters of Palermo -- one that, along with Messina, is heavily shifted toward the Levant and to non-Ashkenazi Jewish groups compared to the Sicilian average, while people from the rest of the island have more Italic and Greek ancestry.

Here are some other Sicilians to see if the trend holds. I expect Catania and Agrigento to be on the exotic side, and Trapani on the lesser exotic. If you could do the writing and plot in a different color overlaid on the other? If too overwhelming just make a new one please. :)
