too many Balkan similar populations, so I only kept Serbs, Bulgarians, Romanians, Greeks and Albanians (no point in having all the regional populations of Jugoslavija there separately). also for Italy I kept the relevant ones (Lombardia, Toscana, Calabria) and for Spain (Asturias, Castilla y Leon, Andalucia)

I saw Bosnian is your closest match followed by Croatian, and you get Montenegrin in the 3rd place before Hungarian.

how the fuck is it cheating when I already posted the full result on that other thread? as well as the removed mode which I also explained there

i.e. removed all the Balkan suite of all-almost-identical-populations that are not more informative than just having the Serbs present in the list (they suffice) - there's basically the same population duplicated because of political reasons, i.e. the Yugoslavs, so I removed the irrelevant ones (Croats, Bosnians, Slovenes, Montenegrins, Macedonians) and only kept the relevant Balkan populations: Serbs (aka Yugoslavs), Bulgarians, Romanians and Greeks. oh, and Albanians, but who cares about those...

it's a mosaic of Balkan populations, it's no deal to get 10 similar populations pop-out there, it's not relevant, the idea is I am close to Yugoslavs (included all those removed, so no point of having a 10-population list for dwarf nations of the Balkans, all overly similar to the other)

Nah, you cheated. You are closer to Montenegrins than you are to Hungarians. Your stupid argument these populations are too similar (which they are not, as my results show) can apply to any other neighbouring countries/ethnic groups in Europe.

I doubt some populations got good sampling - Moldavians got way too southwest in G25 (they plot more to southwest than Romanians, it's hilarious). also Macedonians and Montenegrins plot way too north in G25. probably too small sampling.

Montenegrins come close to me in G25 because they're diplaced to the north, not for other reason (they get more northern than Serbs in G25, which is hilarious).

otherwise I get the usual Eascentral Europe to North Balkans to Eastern Europe cline, halfway between Romanians and Austrians on G25, as I am halfway between Ukrainian_Lviv and Romanians in K15 (but more to the east)

I seem to be closer than you according to G25 to Central/Eastcentral European populations as well, only to prove even more that the Montenegrin average is displaced to North too much and needs better sampling (it cannot come more northern than the Serb one):

No, you are not. I am just not close to any of these samples because I am unique. I get more northern populations in comparisons with you on G25 and on gedmatch I am more northern as well.

well at least according to Global25 I plot closer to each of those Central and Eastcentral Euro populations than you - I am just mentioning it to make you understand Montenegrin sample is a mistake, like Moldavian is too in Global 25. if we ignore those two, the results are ok, in line with the other calculators/plots.
