any further subdivisions are unecessary imo. look how Bosnian, Croatian, Šumadijan, and South/East Serbs are all over the place.
A century ago mixing was strict taboo and such people were very rare. Now, regretably, everything is upside down and even one such person (Ceca) gets called 'Serbian mother'. Of course, if someone scores like 5% South Asian, they won't be counted neither here, nor on academic studies.
Mixing with Gypsies is nowhere a usual thing. Why would that be different in Serbia? Because Ustase said that?
Besides that, for having such wide spread average in a population for any component it needs to be ancient enough. All those components are probably more ancient in Serbian dna than Gypsies on Balkan.
