I am not sure entire NRW state is genetically NW. As for Hessen, it should have a cline.
Northern Hessen is probably more NW. But overall I am pretty sure Hessen is closer to SW German than NW German average.

Btw, we should make German regional averages for K13 :)
Thuringia is already very Slavic-shifted (except maybe North-West Thuringia) so there is a quite sharp transition from East to West Germans too (not just from North to South Germans).
Here’s the DNA test I used:

My 23andme results are very similar, the only difference is 3.5% Eastern European.
Many of my German kits are no longer active after Verogen and I did not save their K13 before.
Anyway, here is the other Hessen kit that is still active (I will check if any more are still active):
Eurogenes K13:
North_Atlantic 43.69 Pct
Baltic 22.35 Pct
West_Med 14.83 Pct
West_Asian 4.48 Pct
East_Med 10.49 Pct
Red_Sea 1.78 Pct
South_Asian -
East_Asian 0.69 Pct
Siberian -
Amerindian 0.86 Pct
Oceanian 0.22 Pct
Northeast_African -
Sub-Saharan 0.60 Pct
So here are K13 and K15 averages for South_Hessen (n=2, so far):
I also made Masurian K13 average from n=5 kits that are still active:Code:South_Hessen_K13,43.03,22.81,14.84,5.67,9.94,1.43,0.28,0.35,0.16,0.72,0.44,0,0.36
South_Hessen_K15,30.0,27.24,9.38,9.23,10.05,4.36,7.37,1.12,0.26,0.17,0,0.36,0.21,0,0.28
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masurians#Population_size
Later on I will update both of these averages with more samples.Code:Masurian_K13,31.66,44.71,11.83,4.12,2.82,1.20,0.89,0.20,1.14,0.39,0.29,0.17,0.58
Masurian_K15,25.23,16.34,27.09,19.69,7.30,1.66,0.31,0.88,0.45,0.07,0.25,0.12,0.17,0.11,0.36
I'd like to compare Grand Est, France and Baden-Württemberg, Germany
