It is my native land.
There are examples of countries which became peacefully independent, to a certain degree.
Spoiler!
Kurds are an anchor of stability in Middle East, there are 30-40 Million Kurds but they don’t have an own nation. According your logic, PKK is a legitimate movement for Kurdish independence,
The Kurds in Turkey have their own nation, it's called Turkey. And no, PKK has honourless tactics I despise.
I asked this many times, in this Kurdistan independence story, are all Kurds going to leave Istanbul Ankara etc? And what happens to the 4.000.000 or so mixed marriages?
Most Kurds, I mean the overwhelming majority would support the idea of becoming independent in Turkiye.
Both, Turkiye and Kurdistan could arrange an agreement which assures minority rights, for Kurds in Turkiye and Turks in Kurdistan. You are right asking about the fate of Kurds in Turkish cities, they probably have to leave Turkiye if they voted for independence in a theoretical referendum. That’s complicated, I don’t say the process of independence is easy working. Mixed people can decide where they want to live, most of them are fully Turkified and I think they will decide for Turkiye.
Kurdish regions have much higher fertility rate than other parts.
Demography wise, Kurds can wait and multiply and take even more they hold now.

Everybody in Turkey is something. I am macır, you have your arnavut, çerkez, laz etc. I am not going to list them all, give them all independence? And what about you, independence for gypsies too?
Besides the Kurds sold their souls to the Turks when they killed the Armenians.
Fact is, majority in Turkey is against splitting up Turkey, it's not gonna happen.
I am for helping Kurdistan in Iraq to become an independent nation, that way we'll have a place to ship unwanted elements.
We talked about this topic weeks ago, Kurdish birth rate will probably drop in the next years and their fertility rate won’t be different to Turkish fertility rate. Also humans aren’t barbarians, why should they get children just to become independent, that is irresponsible.
Albanians have their own state and Circissians nor Laz people have independence movements. I don’t get your last sentence, but I think Roma don’t have an independence movement too.
You aren’t wrong, but that’s not the topic.Quote:

Of course most ethnic Turks don’t want Kurdish independence, that would be a huge strategic loss for Turkiye. But the question is, what do Kurds want. This is actually their land now, regardless what people lived there in the past. Kurdish question is a matter of fact, there are 20 Million people and mist of them want to be independent, we aren’t talking about small minorities who are spread all over Turkiye.Quote:

Yes, but only on one condition. All the Kurds in the western part will leave Turkiye entirely and go to their new state. There will be no Kurds in Turkiye. They can happily live in their own country, good luck. Kısacası ne ölün ölüme ne dirin dirime. Su veren itfaiyenin hortumunu sikeyim.
