It's like saying: all Blacks in Europe have Greek or Italian origin because they've migrated through these countries.

But I agree with you that fast and complete assimilation of gypsies is the only solution. The more this process is delayed the larger the gypsification of the country will be.

It does make sense though. Gypsies in Northeastern Europe came there from the South at some point. The Roma ethnicity seems to have formed in the Ottoman domain which is basically the Balkans.

Nope, gypsy migration was well known before the Ottomans. For instance, the Romanian principalities took the laws related to gypsies from the Byzantines. These laws were established around 1000 AD. The Balkans was just a stepping stone in this migration route towards Europe.

I even suspect that most of muslims (Bosniaks) in Serbia in 1700-1800 were more slavic admixed, and they mostly moved to Turkey.

Mountain people (serbian villagers) were predominantly ex-romance villagers (vlachs) who had significantly less Baltic admixture.

Can you post K13 of Dalmatian Serb who is most norhwestern of D. Serbs on your K13 map. He is close to one Serb from W. Serbia.

Herzegovinian Vlachs were fake Vlachs, they were just in "vlach" social status. Most of Herzegovinian clans who are recorded as "Vlach" in the middle age and early Ottoman period have Slavic y dna.

there are big differences within Herzegovina. the lowlands have more i2 and r1a and are more Slavic autosomally, and the highlands(where the Vlachs are) less so.

Old Herzegovina (western Montenegro) have pretty much non-Slavic y dna, like Kriči J2b1-M205, Drobnjaci Novljani I1-P109, Banjani and Pivljani N-P189.2 etc.

BiH Herzegovina has strong domination of Slavic y dna, among all 3 religions.

Old Herzegovina became part Montenegro in 1878. But Old Herzegovina is tribal same as Brda and Old Montenegro. BiH Herzegovina is not tribal.
There is a view that natural Montenegro is where exist tribes. In that case Old Herzegovina is natural Montenegro, regardless on fact that became part of Montenegro in 1878.

you mean the old k15 map? k15 is not very reliable, i don't use it anymore.

Djujić is maybe same person who is tested on y dna (R1a-M458>L1029), and according to whose results is determinated y dna of vojvoda Momčilo Djujić. Tested Djujić live in USA, he have paternal origin from same village as vojvoda. In USA Serbs from various regions are mixed with each other. My cousins full D. Serb which live in Chicago is married for Serb from northern Bosnia, my other cousin D. Serb also from Chicago is married for Serb from Požega in W. Serbia.

Jarić is R1a-Z280>Y2613. He has a match in y dna with some Croatian from some island, Pašman or something. Jarić tested on y dna is from Zrmanja in southern Lika, close to Dalmatia but not Dalmatia.

Maybe Krajina Serbs are western shifted due to I1. It's high among Dalmatian Serbs, but Lika Serbs have about Serbian average, and Kordun and Banija Serbs less than Serbian average.
Also, maybe it's partly connected with clades of R1a which are specific for Krajina Serbs R1a-Z280>YP951 and R1a-Z280>Y2613.

Most of Krajina Serbs whose position on K15 I have seen were more western than Serbian average. Hungry Lion, Dalmatian Serb up, Dalmatian Serb from Šibenik, Aye's dad, Siniša Jerković (from Grmeč), other Banija Serb from my thread etc. are all more western than Serbian average.

No. Medium brown hair, hazel eyes. The traits on yourdnaportal say that she is more likely to have brown eyes than blue and that she has some genes for blonde hair. And she's 180 cm tall, in case that matters.

I was wondering about the SNP's. I had noticed the elevated South Asian and did not remember that from your results.

I suppose it's possible that some of her results can be attributable to the lower SNP count, but still may very well be representative of some small variations between you two, quite interesting.

Both FTDNA and MH provide the same amount of SNPs - 77k on Eurogenes. It changed back in early 2019.
