Eight different types from seven decades and three countries are in use here: a few remaining Duewag GT8s (nicknamed "Helmut") from Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, the Polish classics Konstal 105Na ("Aquarium"), Tatra RT6, Siemens Combino, Solaris Tramino and three Models from the Poznań-based manufacturer Modertrans, a subsidiary of the transport company.

Hmmm! I can't help but notice how Western the old Polish uniforms look. Some almost like a modernised version of WW2-era battledress, a lot of berets (worn the British way of the period!). Uniform-wise, it partially reeembled a NATO army, only no Mk.IV or M1 helmets. I think that the Polish communist authorities tried to make a silent statement to the Soviets when those uniforms were introduced (much like the GDR did with their uniforms btw)...

The main draw of Biskupin is its "living history" exhibits, showcasing reconstructions of ancient huts and daily activities close to archeological site. Visitors journey through different historical periods, including the Stone Age Neolithic Village, the Defensive Housing Estate of the Lusatian Culture, and the Early Piast Village. The museum also hosts an annual Archaeological Festival in September, offering lectures, workshops, exhibitions, and ancient cuisine.
