Not necessarily favourite, but some cool ones that I remember growing up and seemed memorable. I was a kid in the 80s but some of the ones I posted below I saw with older cousins when MTV always seemed to be on. Some videos from 80s were also critiqued by Beavis and Butthead, for instance I don't think I saw A-Ha's video before then. In the early 90s I started watching MTV on my own, and you just sort of sat through everything they played so you got exposure to different genres of music that you wouldn't necessarily watch on your own today. The ones I listed were the most memorable as they seemed to be in heavy rotation. Michael Jackson and Madonna seemed to be the heavy hitters well into the 90s with so many big videos and they made premieres of their songs a big deal. But there were also videos like November Rain that had a ton of airplay and then Guns N Roses sort of disappeared.
