I just discovered three days ago that my paternal grandfather is not my biological grandfather. My closest hungarian region is Hungary_North(northeast hungarians), your closest hungarian region is Hungary_Transdanubia, my distance to my closest hungarian region is lower than yours, however when we consider Hungary avarage(all regions) you get slightly lower distance.

Is the original the best or the updated Vahaduo K13 version or the DNAgenics admixture studio version better ? The latter two give me English as my single closest population but the original gives me Irish as my single closest population. There is a big difference between the two groups IMHO.:picard2:

You are neither the first nor the last to which things like this happen, surely there are many cases similar to yours here.

I hope something like this does not affect you or your relationship with your parents.

We already commented (several forum members when you posted those results) that the results of your father were too Spanish even for a Frenchman from that area.
